Privacy policy

The short version.
- The only personal information you give us is what you type into the quote form: your name, your phone number, the kind of work, and any details you add. Our hosting company also records the ordinary web-server basics on every visit — that is in the table below.
- We use it for one thing — to call you back about that work.
- We never sell it, rent it or trade it.
- This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies.

Who we are
Group 3 Plumbing, 75 Milner St, Winnipeg, MB R2X 1G8. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page.

What we collect

That is the whole list. This website has no accounts, no passwords and no payments. We do not ask for your address, your email or anything about your household.
What we deliberately do not do
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no session recording on this site.
- No tracking cookies. This site does not set cookies to follow you around the web.
- No selling. We never sell, rent or trade your information. We do not pass it to lead brokers or directories.
- No marketing. Sending the quote form does not sign you up for anything. We contact you about your job and that is all.
- Nothing from children. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your consent
When you fill in the quote form and press send, you are asking us to get in touch — and that is your consent for us to use those details to do it. We use them for that purpose and no other.
You can withdraw that consent whenever you like. Call or email us and we will stop using your information and delete what we still hold.
Where your information goes
Three companies touch a quote request on its way to us, and no one else does:
- Vercel hosts this website. Servers in the United States.
- Resend delivers the form as an email to us. Resend keeps a copy of that email for 30 days and then deletes it. Servers in the United States.
- Google runs the business inbox the email lands in. Servers in the United States.
Each of them handles your information only to provide that service to us. Nobody else receives it.
Information stored outside Canada
Because those three services are based in the United States, your name, phone number and job details are stored on servers there. While information is held in another country, the courts and government agencies of that country can require access to it under that country’s laws. We are telling you this plainly because Canadian privacy law expects us to.
If you would rather not send details through the form, just phone us at (204) 963-9884. A phone call does not go through any of this.
How long we keep it
- Resend: 30 days, then the copy is deleted.
- Our inbox: while we are quoting or doing the work, and afterwards for as long as we need it for warranty and normal business records. Once it is no longer needed, we delete it.
- Hosting records: kept by our hosting company on their own standard schedule, then discarded.
Your rights
Under Canada’s federal privacy law you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent
Call (204) 963-9884 or email info@group3plumbing.ca. It costs nothing, and we will come back to you within 30 days. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really your information you are asking about.
Keeping it safe
- This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted on the way to us.
- The form accepts a limited set of fields and passes them straight into an email. There is no customer database on this website to break into.
- Access to the inbox quotes land in is limited to Group 3 and the people who look after this website for them.
No system is ever completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If information were ever exposed in a way that put you at real risk, we would tell you and report it as the law requires.
Links to other sites
This site links out to our Google review page. Once you follow a link off this website, the privacy policy of that company applies instead of ours.
Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top always shows the last update. If we ever change something significant — collecting something new, or sending your information somewhere new — we will say so plainly at the top of this page rather than expecting you to notice on your own.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — call (204) 963-9884 or email info@group3plumbing.ca and we will do our best to put it right. If we cannot, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
